This year's program features Dr. Edward Ellis, III, Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas, Dr. R. Dean White, part time Medical Staff Advisor at Harris Methodist HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas and Dr. Thomas P. Williams, Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Texas in Houston.
Along with three outstanding speakers, our program will offer a pre-conference tour to Costa Rica beginning on April 18 and ending on April 21 at the Los Suenos Marriott. The tour has been arranged by Linda Kinsey at Custom Travel and Cruise. We encourage you to register early, as space is limited. Several tours will be offered during the week but do not cover the locations seen in the pre-conference tour.
Air Travel
Daily flights are limited in and out of Costa Rica. Therefore, we encourage you to arrive on Tuesday to take advantage of the tours offered on Wednesday and to be at the hotel for the opening reception and dinner. We have chosen a Costa Rican theme to introduce you to the culture and food available to you while you are there. Bus transportation to the hotel will also be arranged for arrivals on Tuesday and from the hotel to the airport on Sunday.
Hotel
This year, three room levels are available at the beautiful Los Suenos Marriott. Rates per night are as follows: 1). Single/Double Room $310 (USD) 2).Ocean View Single/Double $360 (USD) 3). Premium Ocean Single/Double $410 (USD). A limited number of each room type is available so please reserve early. Deadline to make your reservation is January 21, 2009. Due to the location of the hotel, the only way to make your reservation is by accessing this link specifically made for us by the hotel http://cwp.marriott.com/sjols/ssoms/ The Marriott will not take reservations over the phone, by fax or email.
We suggest that you start planning for your trip today! Check flight schedules from your area to see what is available to you and contact the hotel for availability. Don't forget that you must have a passport to travel to Costa Rica.
